Korean-American Scholarship Foundation Eastern Regional Chapter Scholarships

Description

The Korean-American Scholarship Foundation Eastern Regional Chapter Scholarships will be awarded to students who are of Korean heritage (i.e., have a Korean parent, grandparent, or great-grandparent, or be adopted from Korea). Applicants must be or will be a student at a school in one of the designated Eastern region states during the full 2024-2025 school year. Korean War Veterans Descendants may also apply. They must be a direct descendant of a Korean War Veteran who served in Korea from June 25, 1950-January 31, 1955. They must also be or will be a student at a school in one of the designated Eastern region states during the full 2024-2025 school year. Scholarships for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors will be awarded based on achievement, not based on financial need. For high school seniors, those with plans to attend college in the 2024-2025 school year will be selected. College freshmen, sophomores, and juniors must be attending school within the Eastern region. College seniors will be selected if they have plans to attend a graduate or professional school in the Eastern region during the 2024-2025 school year. They must submit a letter of acceptance from the graduate or professional school. Graduate students must be continuing their studies in the 2024-2025 school year at a school within the Eastern region. International and self-supporting students may also apply. Current non-students are eligible if they can provide documentation indicating they will be a student in one of the aforementioned categories in the 2024-2025 school year. Students who reside, or will reside, in the US during the 2024-2025 school year, whether US citizens or foreign nationals, are all welcome to apply. There are different application and application requirements for high school, college, and graduate students. Please make sure to use and submit what is appropriate for you.
