Description

The Lady Denise Sanders Robertson Scholarship may be awarded to (1) a graduating African-American senior from any public, private or home school located in Smith County, Texas; (2) a non-traditional student residing in Smith County, Texas at the time of application; or (3) a non-traditional student residing outside of Smith County at the time of application, who plans to attend a college or university located in Smith County, Texas. Applicants must pursue studies in either Theology, Liberal Arts, Fine Arts, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences or Health Sciences. Applicants must submit two references, one reference must have had in classroom experience with the applicant. Applicants must also submit a list of extracurricular and community service activities including hours, week, and year involved.
