Description

The Lamar University Presidential Scholars is available to incoming freshmen students with exceptionally strong academic records. Students must be first-time-in-college freshmen (dual credit and AP credit are not disqualifying), have a minimum high school GPA of 4.40 and above (will be re-calculated on a 5.0 weighted scale), and must rank in the Top 10 percent of their graduating class OR submit their SAT(1330 and above) or ACT(29 and above) scores for consideration. Class rank requirements will not apply to homeschooled students or high schools that do not rank students. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
