Description

The Lamar University Southeast Texas Legends Scholars is available to incoming freshmen with exceptionally strong academic records. Students must be first-time-in-college freshmen (dual credit and AP credit are not disqualifying), have a minimum high school GPA of 4.40 and above (will be re-calculated on a 5.0 weighted scale), and must rank in the Top 10 percent of their graduating class with a record of demonstrated excellence in academics, leadership, service and/or creative endeavors. Class rank requirements will not apply to homeschooled students or high schools that do not rank students. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
