Leslie B. Durst and Shirley S. Durst Scholarship

Description

The Leslie B. Durst and Shirley S. Durst Scholarship is available to graduating seniors from the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics who choose to pursue an education in the arts, which include Fine Arts, Literary Arts, Moving Image Arts, Music, Dance, and Theatre. A significant component of this application is an example of the applicant's work, to date, in the arts. Many files will be too large to upload directly to this application. Instead, applicants must host their videos, pictures, or other files to a third-party site (such as YouTube, Vimeo, Flickr, or Picasa) and paste the link in the online application. Applicants may submit one letter of recommendation from a person who can speak to their character, leadership, talents, and academic record. Letters from immediate or extended family members will not be accepted. This letter is not required, but is strongly recommended. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington for more information.
