Description

The Louis Pelzer Memorial Award Committee of the Organization of American Historians invites candidates for graduate degrees to submit essays for the Louis Pelzer Memorial Award competition. The winning essay will be published in the Journal of American History. Essays, including footnotes, should not exceed 10,000 words. An abstract and the electronic version of the essay should be sent via email with "2023 Louis Pelzer Memorial Award Entry" noted in the subject line, and one hard copy should be submitted via mail.
