The LSU Distinguished Freshman Award is open to college-sponsored National Merit Finalists who indicate LSU as their first-choice institution. Students may receive $2,000 per year and the opportunity to earn up to $1,550 per year by participating in the ChancellorÔÇÖs Future Leaders in Research Program.
