The Margaret C. Stednitz Scholarship was established in 1991. She dedicated her life to music and education and wished to pass on her passion for learning to students who dream of achieving a college degree. Applicants must be a current graduating senior of Lincoln Northeast High School, Lincoln, Nebraska. The applicant must demonstrate scholastic application and achievement and intend to continue their education. This scholarship is not awarded until the recipient completes one full year of college with continued evidence of scholarship application and achievement. Upon completion of their first year of college, the recipient must provide the Lincoln Community Foundation with a transcript of their first-year grades and proof of enrollment for the upcoming fall semester.
