The Maria Melendez Hinkley - Lift As You Rise Scholarship provides financial assistance for $5,000 per year, beginning in the fall 2021 semester, to undergraduate students. It is the Donor's preference that consideration be given to students who advance the University's interest in promoting the educational benefits of a diverse student body, including Black and Latino students.
