The Mary Ann Eiff Memorial Award seeks to recognize an individual, a WAI chapter, or another significant entity that has demonstrated a clear commitment to reaching young women through outreach activities to inform them of the many aviation careers available to them and encourage them to consider choosing aviation careers. Potential recipients may apply themselves or on behalf of their chapter. It is recommended for applicants to submit no more than two examples of publicity or marketing materials used to promote the effort to encourage more young women to enter the aviation field. Applicants must be a current member of Women in Aviation International by October 1, 2024, and their membership must not expire before March 2025. Two professional letters of recommendation are required. Letters may not be from family members.
