Description

The Mary Lou Berry Scholarship offers a two-year award totaling $5,000 to a graduating senior from Nueces Canyon High School who plans to pursue a degree in nursing or medicine. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, an ACT score of at least 15, and submit two letters of recommendation from academic instructors. Selection is based on financial need and academic readiness. To receive second-year funding, recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA and provide an official college transcript after the first year. Students must be accepted into an accredited college, university, or medical training program by December 31 of the award year.
