Description

The Maryland Heroes - Career Training Grant was established in 2018 to support the children and spouses of Maryland state or local law enforcement, or career and volunteer firefighters, who were killed in the line of duty. These scholarships are awarded to students pursuing non-degree certificate programs at community colleges and private career schools. Applicants must have a high school diploma or a GED. Applicants must be planning to attend a non-degree certificate program at a community college or private career school. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis each month.
