The MASOT Student Achievement Award was developed to recognize significant achievements of MASOT doctoral student members. Criteria that will be considered for this award include academic excellence, outstanding scientific achievement in the field of toxicology, and leadership and service to SOT, MASOT and the applicant's academic institution. Applicants must be a current MASOT member. They must also be enrolled in an accepted Toxicology or Pharmacology doctoral program. Applicants must have an intention of submitting a first author abstract for SOT. The award is based on a review of a full, current CV, which should include abstracts, presentations, publications, awards, and evidence of leadership at MASOT, SOT, or home institution. One letter of recommendation is required; two letters are strongly suggested. Recipients of the Student Achievement Award are ineligible to apply again in subsequent years. Anyone who already submitted an application can re-submit if they wish, but it is not required. Please visit the award's website for more information.
