Description

The Medill JR/MOTH Grant is open to students involved in a journalism residency program. The funding cannot offset the cost of more than one apartment, entertainment expenses, gym memberships, or help in the case of lost or stolen goods or services. This also cannot replace the non-work-study income students earn in a typical quarter. Students going on JR or MOTH are eligible to apply for funding three weeks prior to the start of their JR/MOTH quarter. Funds are not dispersed until after residency has started. Students may apply anytime during their residency/MOTH, up until the final work/class day. Students may visit the scholarship's website or contact the Office of Undergraduate Financial Aid for more information.
