Established by the Dyson Foundation in honor of its' friend and board member, Michael P. Murphy, and supported by his family, friends and colleagues, the Michael P. Murphy Public Service Scholarship is for a graduating senior from Millbrook High School, Our Lady of Lourdes High School or Poughkeepsie High School who has demonstrated leadership in and a passion for giving back to their community and will attend an accredited college or university. Two current letters of recommendation from teachers or guidance counselors, clergy or persons other than family members who are familiar with the applicant's skills and abilities are required.
