Michigan Tuition Grant

Description

The Michigan Tuition Grant is available to students who plan to attend or are attending a degree-granting, non-profit independent college. Students must enroll at least half-time. They must possess a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent. Applicants must also be a Michigan resident since July 1 of the previous calendar year. For dependent students, their parents must also be a Michigan resident since July 1 of the previous calendar year. Applicants must not be incarcerated. They cannot be enrolled in a course of study leading to a degree in theology, divinity, or religious education. Applicants must also not be in default on a Federal student loan.
