The Minnesota State University, Mankato Legacy In-State Tuition Scholarship is open to students whose parent is an alumnus of Minnesota State University, Mankato, and they are residents of a non-reciprocity state. The Legacy In-State Tuition Scholarship will grant in-state tuition to undergraduate students whose parents are alumni of the university. Parents' degrees may include Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral. Proof of relationship is required, like a copy of a birth/adoption certificate, a copy of the state income tax return identifying dependents, and a death certificate in case of a deceased family member. In addition, parent proof of graduation may be provided, such as a copy of the diploma and a copy of transcripts indicating the degree/date granted.
