Naomi Mildred Nicoll Scholarship

Description

The Naomi Mildred Nicoll Scholarship is for daughters of single, working mothers, exhibiting financial need. Applicants must live in Litchfield, Warren, Morris or Goshen and must be a graduate of Lakeview High School. Intellectual curiosity and community service are favored. Mother's marital status will not impact renewal. This scholarship may be renewable. First-time applicants must have a FAFSA Student Aid Index (SAI) below $40,000. Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, employer, clergy member, guidance counselor, or other community member who they think can best speak to their character, achievements, and potential. Recommendations from relatives or friends are not admissible. There is a different application link for students applying for the first-time and students applying to renew their scholarship. Scholarship renewal applications are due by January 15, 2026. First-time applications are due by February 17, 2026.
