The NSHSS Access to Achievement Scholarship supports students who are determined to pursue their academic and college goals despite financial challenges. For many capable students, costs associated with opportunities such as AP exam fees, SAT preparation or tutoring, application fees, and other academic resources can create barriers to success. Applicants are invited to share how financial obstacles have impacted their educational journey, how this scholarship would help them continue pursuing their goals, and the ways they have demonstrated determination and resourcefulness in overcoming these challenges. Applicants must be graduating in 2027 or 2028. Applicants must submit an educator recommendation letter and it is optional but applicants may also submit pictures, videos, or media showing their leadership in action.
