NSHSS is committed to honoring and celebrating students who show outstanding leadership through their dedication to serving their communities. Whether by volunteering with local organizations, leading projects, or advocating for positive change, these students embody a strong commitment to making a difference. The NSHSS Hometown Hero Scholarship will be awarded to students graduating in 2026, 2027, 2028, or 2029. Applicants must submit an educator recommendation letter and it is optional but applicants may also submit pictures, videos, or media showing their leadership in action.
