The NTSS Toshio Narahashi Postdoctoral Scholar/Associate Poster Competition Award will be awarded based on poster and oral presentations at SOT. The scholar/associate must be a postdoctoral member of SOT and NTSS (or show evidence of application) and meet the SOT criteria for classification as a postdoctoral scholar/associate at the time of the Annual Meeting. Postdoctoral Scholars/Associates giving platform presentations at the Annual Meeting are also eligible if they prepare a poster summarizing their talk. Advisors or mentors who are not members are strongly encouraged to join NTSS. An extended abstract and a letter of support from the postdoctoral scholar/associate's advisor outlining the postdoc's independence and role on the research must be submitted. The extended abstract should consist of the abstract originally submitted to SOT, a description of the impact of the research, key figures or data, and a conclusion.
