The ONNSFA Graduate Awards are provided to Navajo students seeking graduate-level degrees. Graduate applicants shall pursue only one degree at the same level: a master's degree, an education terminal degree, or a doctorate's degree. Full-time graduates or post-graduates must earn nine or more semester credit hours with a term grade point average of 3.00 or higher. Medical, veterinary, and law student applicants shall be a "full-time graduate applicant" and earn no less than a 2.00 grade point average or "passing" grade at the end of each academic term. Applicants must be admitted to a postsecondary institution accredited by one of six regional accrediting associations as recognized by the Navajo Nation. The online application for the 2025-2026 Academic Year opens on March 15, 2025, and closes on June 25, 2025. The application deadline for the 2026 Winter/Spring term is November 25, 2025.
