Description

The Pittsburgh Jazz Society/Howard Gendell M.D. Scholarship Endowment was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation through The Friends of Howard Gendell in memory of Howard Gendell, a physician and a jazz musician. Scholarships are for deserving music students pursuing a degree in music with a major or minor in jazz. Financial need is considered but not required. Awards are not renewable, but applicants may reapply each year they meet the eligibility criteria. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Pittsburgh Foundation for more information.

Eligibility Requirements
