Description

The Pride Foundation Community Scholarships is open to students who lack a broader LGBTQ+ community support system, demonstrate leadership and leadership potential on LGBTQ+ issues, face additional barriers to educational access (especially LGBTQ+ students of color, transgender students, LGBTQ+ immigrant students, LGBTQ+ youth aging out of foster care, and students who have experienced homelessness, poverty, or isolation due to geography), and show significant financial need. Applicants may submit the following optional materials: academic transcript, resume, letter(s) of recommendation, and writing or art samples.

Eligibility Requirements

  • CheckmarkMust be an undergraduate student or a graduate student
  • CheckmarkMust attend a university, a four-year college, two-year college or a vocational-tech school
  • CheckmarkRestricted by race for Black, Hispanic, Asian/Pacific Islander or American Indian/Alaska Native students
  • CheckmarkMust not be attending high school currently
  • CheckmarkRestricted to residents of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington
