The Randall D. Ledford Scholarship (in Physics) is open to a high school student interested in majoring in Physics at Wake Forest University. This scholarship is a four-year half-tuition scholarship awarded to a promising incoming physics major attending Wake Forest University. There are 2 Ledford scholarships available, one is The Randall D. Ledford Scholarship I in Physics open to any high school applicants and the other one is The Randall D. Ledford Scholarship II in Physics open to applicants who are currently attending high school in North Carolina. These are both awarded once every four years. Applicants must submit at least one letter of recommendation coming from someone who can comment on their potential in science and a brief letter asking to be considered for the Ledford Scholarship.
