Description

Incoming freshmen who apply for the Reaud Honors College will automatically be considered for honors scholarships. They must have a ranking in the top 10 percent of their high school graduating class and a GPA of 4.25 or higher (unweighted GPA of 3.85 or higher). Test scores are highly encouraged as part of our holistic review process. Exemplary applications usually have a minimum SAT of 1260 (EBRW + math) or a minimum ACT of 27. Reaud Honors College applicants must first apply and be accepted for admission to Lamar University. Continuing honors students and transfer students are also eligible to apply.
