Rich Port Scholarship

Description

As a tribute to Mr. Port's personal commitment to education and as a means of improving the professionalism of the real estate industry, the Rich Port Scholarship Fund was established to help licensed real estate agents in Illinois complete courses to earn the Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI) of Illinois designation. Any person who has been a licensed real estate agent in Illinois for a minimum of one year, working in Illinois, and is interested in furthering their career in the real estate industry is eligible to apply for a scholarship. A letter of recommendation from at least one real estate broker from the office with which the applicant is affiliated must be submitted. Letters of recommendations from two officers (one which may be the local Board Executive Officer) from the local Board of which the applicant is a member are also required.
