Description

To honor RichardÔÇÖs memory and to keep alive his splendid example of service, the Richard E. Whitted scholarship was created to award a college-bound member of the senior class of each of the Orange County and Chapel Hill-Carrboro City schools who has shown outstanding academic achievement and public service. This scholarship is restricted to seniors at Orange County and Chapel Hill-Carrboro City schools. Applicants must plan to attend a 4-year public or private college or university.
