The Robert D. Forster Scholarship will be awarded to dependents of current employees of The Walsh Group of affiliated companies. Children of qualified employees who have died or become permanently disabled are also eligible. Eligible employees must have worked minimum 1,000 hours in each of the preceding three years as of the scholarship deadline. Students may attend any 1-, 2- or 4-year, public or private, nonprofit or for-profit, or accredited vocational/trade, Title IV postsecondary school in the United States. Financial need is a consideration, so FAFSA/ORSAA filing is required. This scholarship is automatically renewable if renewal criteria are met. February 15 is the Early Bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all materials to be submitted to OSAC.
