The Robert L. Vann Scholarship Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarship aid to worthy and needy students for education beyond the high school level. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior at a Pittsburgh Public High School; Allderdice High School; Barack Obama Academy of International Studies (Obama Academy); Brashear High School; Carrick High School; Perry High School; Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA); Pittsburgh Science and Technology Academy (SciTech); Pittsburgh Westinghouse Academy; or University Preparatory School at Milliones (U Prep/Pittsburgh Milliones). Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate financial need. Preference will also be given to applicants who have been disproportionately affected by systemic barriers to educational achievement.
