Roberts Scholarship

Description

The Roberts Scholarship is designed to support Oregon residents who graduated from Portland public high schools and are pursuing undergraduate studies in biological or chemical sciences with a career focus in environmental toxicology and chemistry. Applicants must have completed at least one year of college-level science by the March deadline and be enrolled at least half time at a four-year public or nonprofit institution. A minimum college GPA of 2.50 is required. Financial need may be considered through FAFSA, and the scholarship may be renewed for one additional year. Applicants must submit a mentorÔÇÖs letter of recommendation reflecting their commitment to the field. Non-Oregon residents may optionally provide FAFSA documentation for financial need consideration. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
