Each year ANNA recognizes and rewards outstanding achievement in areas such as clinical practice, education, management, quality care, research, and collaboration. The Ron Brady Memorial Award for Excellence in Volunteer Leadership aims to recognize a nephrology nurse who has demonstrated outstanding volunteer leadership in contributing to the mission of ANNA. Candidates for the award will be nominated. Candidates must be current full members of ANNA, having been a member for a minimum of the last 2 years as of the application deadline. Candidates must be actively involved in nephrology nursing related health care services and have active participation in ANNA as a full member at local and/or national level. Nominators must provide written documentation of the individual's ability to motivate others toward a common goal. Candidates must also have demonstrated mentorship of other ANNA members to promote growth and development of the Association. Please visit the award's website for more information.
