Description

The Ronald A. Hammond Scholarship is open to high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence and a commitment to their surrounding community. Preference will be given to first-generation students and/or students who intend to continue their academic pursuits through graduate education. Selected candidates for the Hammond Scholarship are prompted to submit an essay for consideration as finalists. Recipients of the Hammond Scholarship will be invited to participate in the University of Miami's scholarship program. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
