Rosenberg-Ibarra Humanitarian Scholarship

Description

The Rosenberg-Ibarra Humanitarian Scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student for leadership and activities that promote understanding, awareness, and appreciation of persons of diverse backgrounds. Applicants may be LGBTIQ students who either graduated from a high school in Idaho or will be attending a college or university in the state of Idaho. Applicants must be pursuing post-secondary education in the coming 2026-2027 school year. Applicants are required to submit three essays for application: the Personal Statement and Community Involvement and Vision Essay, both which may be submitted as a video or written essay; and the Financial Picture Essay, which must only be submitted as a written essay. The following materials are optional and may be submitted with the application: academic transcript (official or unofficial); resume, which must include work experience and school activities and honors; extracurricular and community activities, including volunteer roles, arts, and/or activism; a letter of recommendation; and 1-2 writing or art samples. Applicants must only include or submit what helps the Foundation understand their experience and goals more fully.
