The Rutgers University - Newark Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society Scholarship is open to transfer applicants attending community college and are members of the college's PTK Honor Society. A minimum of one PTK Scholarship will be awarded annually to an admitted transfer student from each of the following institutions Bergen County College, Essex County College, Hudson County College, Middlesex County College, Passaic Community College, and Union County College. PTK Scholarships are awarded for two years of undergraduate study for a total of $16,000. The scholarship offer is contingent upon providing proof of the applicant's Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society membership and their successful completion of the requirements for the Associate in Arts or the Associate in Science degree by the start of your intended term of entry.
