The Schonstedt Scholarship in Surveying will be awarded to students enrolled in four-year degree programs in surveying, or in closely related degree programs such as geomatics or surveying engineering. Preference will be given to those students enrolled in their junior and senior years of study. Applicants must be a student member at the National Society of Professional Surveyors. Applicants must submit a copy of their Spring transcripts and a copy of their Fall transcripts. Three original letters of recommendation from individuals who are not related to the applicant are also required. One letter must be from a faculty member of the attended institution. Applicants must also submit a personal introductory letter; composition through Artificial Intelligence is prohibited. A copy of driver's license or other State-Issued ID is required (copies of both front and back). Applicants must also submit a copy of course syllabus or program course catalog showing specific courses or subjects required by the scholarship they are applying for.
