Description

The Scottish Arts Scholarship is awarded to first-year students (transfers are not eligible) based on music performance skills demonstrated at the audition. Lesson fees for a student holding a Scottish Arts Scholarship are reduced to $25/semester for half-hour weekly private lessons on the instrument of your audition. Students should only apply for one scholarship area. Recipients are not required to major or minor in music at Wooster. Applicants must attend the audition weekend held on campus in the Scheide Music Center. Applicants who wish to audition in November must complete the scholarship application by November 1, 2025. For February audition dates, please complete all necessary application materials by December 15, 2025. You will receive your scholarship notification by April 1, 2026.
