The Shoucheng Zhang Graduate Fellowship aims to support outstanding doctoral students who are pursuing innovative, interdisciplinary research in the broad field of quantum science and engineering, reflecting innovative work at the intersection of these domains. Students must be nominated for the Zhang Fellowship by their degree program. Fellows are selected each year by a group of faculty that focus on quantum science and engineering research. The following are the eligible Shoucheng Zhang Graduate Fellowship Departments: Aeronautics and Astronautics, Applied Physics, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, Earth and Planetary Sciences, Earth System Science, Electrical Engineering, Emmett Interdisciplinary Program in Environment and Resources, Energy Science and Engineering, Geophysics, Institute for Computational and Mathematical Engineering, Management Science & Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, and Statistics.
