The Massage Therapy Central Campus Endowed Scholarship will be awarded to students in the Massage Therapy program. Awards shall be based on the following basis: financial need (50 percent); explanation of desire (25 percent); skill (25 percent). Recipients will have completed all 5 first level courses by the semester the scholarship is awarded. Applicants must be enrolled in all remaining massage classes needed for the massage certificate and scheduled to graduate the semester the scholarship is awarded. Candidates will be asked to attend a 10-minute interview. Candidates will be asked to perform a full body massage on two scholarship committee members to assess skill level. Applicants must list their current average grade in each of the following classes in which they are enrolled: MSSG 1109, MSSG 1411, MSSG 1314, BMGT 1341, MSSG 1105.
