The Society of Toxicology recognizes nonmembers who embody outstanding and sustained achievements in the field of toxicology and/or allied disciplines, with the Honorary Membership. Candidates are nominated by two Full or Associate members of the Society. Seconding letters with information regarding career achievements in toxicology of the candidate should accompany the nomination. A two-thirds vote of Council determines recipients, with not more than two Honorary Members elected during any one term of Council.
