The SOT Merit Award is presented to a member of the Society of Toxicology in recognition of distinguished contributions to toxicology throughout an entire career in areas such as research, teaching, regulatory activities, consulting, and service to the Society. Preference will be given to nominees who have not received another SOT Award within the last two years. Applicants must submit a letter of nomination from a full member of the Society. A seconding letter from a full member of the Society is also required. Both letters should provide documentation and description of career highlights for the nominee and their significant contributions to toxicology; CV listing is not sufficient without analysis and discussion of the important contributions.
