SOT Undergraduate Diversity Program Student Travel Award

Description

The Undergraduate Diversity Program (UDP) Student Travel Award provides the opportunity for promising undergraduate science majors interested in research careers to attend the Undergraduate Diversity Program from March 15-17, 2025, at the Society of Toxicology Annual Meeting. The goal of the program is to recruit students from diverse backgrounds to graduate school in the biomedical sciences, especially toxicology. The applicant must be: enrolled as an undergraduate student for the full 2024-2025 academic year in a program that terminates with either an associate or bachelor's degree, or enrolled in the bachelor's stage of an accelerated dual degree undergraduate/graduate program, or enrolled in the preprofessional stage of a professional degree program that does not award a bachelor's degree. Preference will be given to second- and third-year students. Applicants must have not previously received the award. Abstract submission is not required. The applicant can request their faculty advisor to fill out the nomination form. Please visit the award's website or contact the Society of Toxicology for more information.
