The mission of the South Carolina Teaching Fellows Program is to recruit talented high school seniors into the teaching profession and to help them develop leadership qualities. Students may receive up to $6,000 of yearly scholarship for four years, including $300 a year for summer enrichment. Qualifying applicants are invited to a regional screening and all applicants are notified as to whether they have been selected for this second phase of the identification process.
