Description

The Southern Methodist University President's Scholar Award is open to entering first-year students with a minimum of 20 high school academic units in a challenging curriculum, including AP/IB and honors courses, two years of a single foreign language, and advanced coursework in math and science. This scholarship covers full tuition and general student fees and is renewable for up to eight semesters or until graduation, whichever comes first. On-campus students also receive a housing scholarship. Applicants must show a demonstrated commitment to engagement in school and/or community activities. To be considered, students must apply, including the President's Scholars Program Application Essay, by January 15th of the senior year. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
