Established in 2014 by Judith G. Mich in honor of her late husband, Dr. Thomas F. Mich, Ph.D. '68. "Speyer" is the name of a city in Southwestern Germany, and was chosen in recognition of the Mich family's German heritage. Must be an advanced graduate student majoring in the Chemistry Department. who displays exceptional promise in research. Preference given to those pursuing a degree in organic, medicinal and chemical biology.
