Sporty's Foundation is offering one Recreational or Sport Pilot flight training scholarship to a WAI chapter member who works with youth to help them pursue their aviation dreams. Special consideration will be given to Girls in Aviation Day volunteers. Scholarship funds are to be used for flight training costs only and must be used within one year of receiving the scholarship. Award money will be sent to the recipient's flight school for disbursement. The recipient will also receive a copy of Sporty's complete Learn to Fly Flight Training Course. All applicants must be current WAI members with an expiration date of March 30, 2026 or later. Applicants must also submit two letters of recommendation. Letters should not be from family members.
