Description

The Sterbenz-Ryan Scholarship was established in 2016 in memory of local businessmen Richard Sterbenz and Martin Ryan who wanted to "give kids like them a shot at life they never had." Approximately 100 scholarships in the amount of $1,500 will be offered to eligible students who: have faced significant obstacles, have demonstrated financial need, attend or will attend a public college (technical, community or university) in MN or WI only. ALL applicants MUST submit: this application and transcripts (grades). NEW applicants must also submit: (2) letters of recommendation on letterhead (for example, one from an employer, one from an educator. Letters cannot be from family members). Please utilize the online application form. However, if you choose, you may download, fill-in, and mail this hardcopy of the application to the address. Method of application has no bearing on scholarship selection process.
