Description

The Steve Willits Memorial Scholarship was founded in honor of Steven Willits who devoted his life to advancing his farm through education and hard work. Applicants must be an Illinois Farm Bureau member, spouse or child of a member. They must be an incoming freshman majoring in agriculture, agribusiness, or a closely related field. Awardees are eligible to renew and receive an additional $1,000 as an incoming sophomore. In addition to individual scholarship eligibility guidelines, selection of recipients is based on activities and involvement, financial plan, essay response, personal statements and in some cases, academic performance.
