Description

Learn about the Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance (DEA) program. If you're the child or spouse of a Veteran or service member who has died, is captured or missing, or has disabilities, you may be able to get help paying for school or job training through the DEA program, also called Chapter 35. The mode of submission may be though the online application or by mail. The VA Form 22-5490 can be mailed to the regional processing office for your state. In filling out the application, applicant must provide Social Security number, Military history, Basic information about the school or training facility you want to attend, Bank account direct deposit information, Education history.
