Description

The Syncrude/Athabasca University Aboriginal Scholarship is available to Alberta Indigenous students who are entering the Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Management or Bachelor of Science at Athabasca University. Applicants must be a current AU undergraduate degree student entering their first year of studies in one of the eligible programs. Preference will be given to students entering their first year of studies. Students in all years of study are eligible to apply. Applicants must be of Indigenous ancestry (Status Indian/First Nations, Non-Status Indian/First Nations, Metis or Inuit) as defined by the applicant's Indigenous nation of origin. Applicants must demonstrate career objectives and/or community activities. Preference will be given to applicants who have not been a previous recipient of the award.
